The Corporal MimeEtienne Decroux (1898-1991) From 1926 to 1945, he continues a prestigious career as an actor interpreting roles for both the theatre and for the screen under the direction of Copeau, Jouvet, Dullin, Artaud, Carné, a.s.o.. In 1940, with a desire to reform theater, he creates his own mime school and eventually his own troupe in 1941. From then on he keeps on creating and teaching the development of his art. In 1946, Etienne Decroux abandons his career in cinema in order to devote himself entirely to the art of mime. Resolute to reveal his art to the world he begins as series of world tours Through his research and creations Etienne Decroux has influenced generations of artists working in different fields such as theater, dance and circus.

Ivan Bacciocchi Trained at the Teatro Laboratorio di Cesena (Italy) directed by par Franco Mescolini and student of Etienne Decroux, Ivan takes an active part in the research program classes of the maestro. In 1985, he joins the school and troupe of Théâtre de l'Ange Fou directed by Steven Wasson and Corinne Soum. He shortly becomes an educational partner ; and teaches there for eight years. At the same time, he participates in the various creations and performs as the principle actor in their shows and plays. For over ten years Ivan teaches at École Internationale de Mimodrame Marcel Marceau. He also directs the Atelier de Belleville where he teaches Corporal Dramatic Mime. Over the years Ivan Bacciocchi creates and produces various mise en scenes including "Pierre et le Loup" (Prokofiev) in Germany and France, "Barbe Bleue Copie Conforme" in France and Italy, and also performes various creations of Etienne Decroux. He also collaborates with F. Mescolini in Italy in a classic repertoire.
